September 2011

On September 23, 2011, LSA Consulting LLC signed a subcontract with Tetra Tech in support of Integrated Justice Solutions International (IJSI) (a joint venture of Tetra Tech, Inc. and Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC)) for execution of a Criminal Justice Program Support (CJPS) indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), multiple-award contract.  The U.S. Department of State (DOS) Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) awarded IJSI CJPS Contract No.SAQMMA11D0087 on June 15, 2011.  LSA Consulting LLC is party to this CJPS Contract under Subcontract No.  CJPS-D0087-TTMSA-11-5001.

June 2011

LSA Consulting LLC, as a subcontractor to Tetra Tech, ARD Inc. and SAIC was successful in being awarded part of a Multi-Nation 5 year Department of State contract.  The task will be in support of Civilian Police and Rule of Law Programs to provide Correctional Expertise for the United States Department of State.

June 2011

LSA Consulting LLC has been selected by Canizaro Cawthon Davis Architects Jackson, Mississippi as the Security Expert in the Design/Build of the new Meridian Law Enforcement Center in Meridian, Mississippi. This 44,000 square foot building is a renovation in an existing vacant storefront space and is valued at $6 million.

LSA Consulting LLC has been selected by RH Partnering, Inc. Glendale, Arizona, as the Security Expert Team member participating in a Value Engineering review at the Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla, Washington.

November 2010

LSA Consulting LLC has been retained by The Snapka Law Firm, Corpus Christie, Texas, as an Expert Witness for a plaintiff in a Wrongful Death Action filed in the District Court, 79th Judicial District, Brooks County, Texas. Case removed to United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas McAllen Division in 2011

September 2010

Larry Small, Owner and Principal Consultant of LSALLC, recently  lectured a Criminal Justice class at the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, MS.  The lecture, which was titled “A Discussion about Corrections: Yesterday, Today and the Future”, and was presented on September 21st to a large group of future Sociologists.

August 2010

LSA Consulting LLC has been retained by Gray-Wade PLLC, Jackson MS, as an Expert Witness for a plaintiff in a Use of Force Federal Civil Action filed in the United States District Court, Northern District of Mississippi.

May 2010

LSA Consulting LLC has been selected to be part of the Subcontractor Team in a Joint Venture with Tetra Tech, ARD Inc. and SAIC in support of Civilian Police and Rule of Law Programs responding to a submittal for the provision of Correctional Expertise for the United States Department of State.  The proposal includes Expert Correctional Consulting Services in support of a Multi-Nation 5 year Department of State program.

Larry returned home after 2 years serving as the Warden (A) of Calipatria State Prison in Calipatria, California.

DEVELOPMENT OF TRIBAL RFP - LSA Consulting LLC was selected by ajc Architects Salt Lake City, Utah, in the RFP process to perform as the Security Expert in the design development of a renovation for the Duck Valley Juvenile Services Detention Facility for the Shoshone-Paiute Tribe in Owyhee, Nevada.

April 2011– June 2011

DEVELOPMENT OF SINGAPORE PRSION SERVICES RFP - LSA Consulting LLC was selected by STET Homeland Security Services Pte Ltd Singapore, in the RFP process to provide Security Consulting Services in the design development of the Selarang Park Complex in Singapore.

July 2010 – September 2010

DEVELOPMENT OF FEDERAL RFP - LSA Consulting LLC was selected by Joseph Wong Design Associates San Diego, as the Security Expert in the RFP process for the preliminary design review of a Federal Field Detention Facility to be constructed in the San Diego area.
